These are a few photos from one of the many displays and exhibitions taking place all this week in various parish halls and private homes. This particular exhibit is in an Oratory run by the Dominicans and shows a variety of plates decorated with common edible items, but shaping a fascinating display representing the 12 apostles and other prelates and Grand Masters who ruled Malta in the past. The items used are rice, salt, beans, pasta, semolina, and other items to decorate each plate with a specific theme. All the items are used by orphanages to feed children after the exhibition is disbanded by Easter Sunday. Please enlarge each photo to see the fascinating detail of each presentation.
