A young boy was talking to his mother about his school, especially about what they did that particular day. His mother was busy preparing dinner and she would say to him occasionally ‘Yes, dear.’ He kept repeating some of the accomplishments at school, which for him were major achievements. Again her response was ‘Yes, dear, how nice.’ Final the little one pulled her skirt, and told her ‘Mama, I want you to listen to me with your eyes !’ At that time, she sat down with him and listened attentively to his accomplishments at school. It’s important for our children to listen to them not only with our ears but also with our eyes !
