Share with you today three unusual photos which make you think, laugh and wonder. The first one is a funny situation one may encounter in a forest, but certainly not in the middle of a road. But when the fawns get hungry, there is no place or time that may be better or discreet than any other. So breakfast in the middle of a road is fine with mama deer, and all drivers have to wait, at least to take a cute photo that is now going around the world.
The second photo is a photo of
you and me, and every person that ever existed. It is a human being at the very
earliest stage of gestation. It’s actually a self-portrait of you and me, a fusion
of the released ovum and a sperm cell just conjoined to combine a
single diploid cell called
the zygote. Apologies from the zygote
for not smiling at the camera, but 9 months later it will scream and cry, and
within a few months crack the first smile of many to follow.
The third photo shows the
life of a 1500-year old tree. It is self-explanatory as you can see from its
birth in year 550 AD until the Civil War and beyond. It was cut down in 1891. Most probably such trees
are in the Sequoia National Park in the USA. But rest assured that most large
trees you find are beyond 100, 200 and more years, and they can tell many
stories of the bygone years.
