This is
a prayer you can say, ending with...’we remember them....’ I wrote this for a
celebration of November 2, and you can add any other personal things for which
you remember your loved ones.
For
their involvement in our churches, their dedication and devotion, ......we
remember them.
For
their generosity with their time, talent and treasure.......
For
their interest in many community events, social gatherings and the joy of
life......
For
their love of their spouses, children, siblings, relatives and friends.......
For
cherishing the discipline and love of their parents, and always obeying
them.....
For
their interest in history, current events and participation in them whenever
possible......
For
their commitment to their faith, and passing it on to their children......
For
always being there when we needed them for support, encouragement and
appreciation.....
For
being friendly to everyone, and a true faithful reliable friend, especially
when everyone else have left you.....
For
their love of music, art, culture, cooking, adventuring and for clean
fun.......
For
being there to hold a hand, to give a hug, to smile and make your life better.......
For
their sincerity, kindness, altruism and generosity........
For always
accepting us, faults, warts and all......
