Kimi Antonelli

I’d like to honor today a young car-racing driver from Italy who just turned 20 on August 25, and who presently is leading the Formula 1 standings with 267 points, a lead of 66 points ahead of three British drivers.  It’s just amazing seeing such a young man driving million dollar cars at those speeds with much more experienced drivers. What is truly remarkable is that yesterday at Monza, Italy, he started at the 19th pole position, then climbing slowly one by one, until he reached the top spot midway through the race, and ending up winning comfortably. Kimi started driving in karting competitions, steered and encouraged by his father, then moving to bigger cars and by 2025, he was promoted to drive in Formula 1, alongside superstars like Hamilton, Veerstappen, Norris and others older than him. So far he won 7 races during this year, and claimed 11 podiums, that is finishing anywhere in the top 3. Congratulations Kimi.
