During this coming month, the statues to be used for the Good Friday procession will be displayed around the churches wherever a procession is held. Around 20 parishes in Malta organize these processions, which is a lot of hard work, volunteerism and preparation for this annual event. There is great anticipation this year as these processions were not held over the last 3 years because of Covid, and organizers are looking forward for this annual spiritual display of faith. I will share with you over the next month various scenes from several parishes. These are just three statues displayed in the church of Zejtun. Most of them have flowers added in front, just the same day as the procession, that is on Good Friday.
