Singapore Airlines lost one of its pretty hostesses and the Dominicans of Segovia gained her in their monastery. The community of Santo Domingo el Real in Segovia did not have a single vocation in 30 years, until Sister Evelyn of Baby Jesus showed up. She used to spend many of her holidays in Rome, and often she used to attend the church where St Catherine of Siena is buried, Santa Maria sopra Minerva. She eventually joined the community in Segovia as a Dominican novice, and now she is fully professed. Her family were upset that she changed her career so unexpectedly, but once they saw how happy she was as a Dominican nun, they were also very happy for her.
