In Southern California, a cross was
erected on a mountain many years ago to honor the veterans of World War II.
These photos were taken during the recent Southern California fires that
destroyed so many homes and the second photo is the most impressive of all. The
cross survived without a scratch, a scene which must have been really something for those firefighters who witnessed
it.
