Vintage photo of my paternal grandparents.
Going back to 1922, I introduce you today with my paternal grandparents, Joseph and Maria Cassar, seen here with two of their children Costanza and Julian. Unfortunately my grandparents both died before I was born, and so I never met them. My grandfather Joseph died in 1935 when my own father John was only 10 years old. My grandmother Maria died in 1950, 2 years before I was born. They would have 5 more children, Concetta, Carmelo, Joseph, John and Magdalen, now all of them deceased. They were all born between 1914 and 1928. Between them they had 19 grandchildren, 14 of whom are still alive.
