During the summer festa season, the skies over Malta are lit up with
decorated churches, light festoons which people hang from their flag-poles, and
of course fireworks, which light up every sky, every evening, some nights more
than others. These are two photos I took yesterday over the Zurrieq parish,
where they are celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel this weekend.
I
used a telephoto and the photos are not of a very good quality, since I was approximately 6 miles away. But at least
you get an idea of how night skies are lit up in some towns and villages.
