According to ‘Christianity Today’, the popular YouVersion app of the Bible, during last year, more than 600,000,000 people searched the Bible for some inspirational quote. The most popular verse was this one from Isaiah: ‘Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10) We can all understand why this verse brought so much consolation to so many people as they struggled with the coronavirus which caused so much heartache and suffering.
